9/11 will be etched in our memories.
That fateful day 3000 over lives perished, 3000 Americans died. The whole of United States was in mourning and by extension the whole world had to be in mourning too. How could it be otherwise?
Every year since that year, this 'day of mourning' is remembered. The pain, sorrow and loss of these americans, who loss their loved ones, is rekindled. Again the whole world must share in their pain, sorrow and loss.
No doubt every loss of live is a great tragedy by itself. The taking of even a single innocent life is a great sin and a calamity on all of mankind. None can empathize more that muslims at the loss of even one innocent live. What more when whole tribes, clans, races and nations are annihilated.
To the thousands and millions of lives loss in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Burundi, Chechnya, Iraq, Palestine, Khasmir, Rwanda and many other nations, when is their day of mourning? When should the world mourn their loss? Or rather should the world mourn? After all they are not Americans!
Are we so caught up in our self fulfilling lives to care? Who will share in their pain, sorrow and loss of their loved ones?
Let us remember them in our prayers always.
