The day day day after

The fasting month has ended, muslims all over celebrated the eid a few days ago. In Malaysia the celebrations will continue for many more days to come. As if to 'compensate' for the fasting month!

It would be great if we could control our over eating during this time, but alas it is much easier said than done (me included!!). More often than not we stuff ourselves to the brim only to regret it later but not to learn from it. The cycle continues.

Illnesses run amok, blood sugar levels, uric acid levels, cholesterol levels and what have you shoot through the roof. Restraint is the key word. Control our food intake and much else will fall into place.

Eat in moderation, dont eat too often, drink plain water. Make all effort to keep your weight loss, dont lose what you have already lost!

Ah.... and the haze. Its in remission for now at least. Your guess is as good as mine when it will flare up again.

Have a pleasent and peaceful festive season. May God's guidance and mercy shower on us always. We pray for patience in in all our endearvours, a day at a time.
